The worst gadgets of all time!
While this site and blog are here to celebrate the best gadgets it is always fun to trawl the depths of the gadget hell, with the good, the bad and the ugly that have us scratching our heads and end up gathering dust in cupboards/garages and charity shops across the country.
Sinclair C5 - push bikes have been around for hundreds of years, keep you healthy has superior maneuverability and wont leave you by the site of the road too often!
Bread maker - with a decent loaf costing as little as 40p, investing hours of work does not look like a great saving.
Pocket TV - watching 10 minutes of TV before your store of batteries ran out, was no fun!
Home Weather Station - it is raining/it is sunny! etc
Sodastream drinks maker - price of refill £1.59, cost of fizzy pop 29p!!
There are loads of these, let me know if I have left out any particularly hideous and or annoying ones!!! With the benefit of hindsight many gadgets are never destined or longevity or popularity, while some of the more daring ones do breakthrough. The ones that acheive universal status transcend gadgets and just become part of our lives (mobile phones and MP3 players) while early versions can look rather silly. The first MP3 players could only store 1 song, and anyone who bought the very first carphones or mobile phones will testify to all the problems that went along with being a trend setter!!!
